Responsibilities

Duty Manager

Duty Manager has a lead role in setting the management, coordination and monitoring framework for patient care delivery, access and improving systems and processes within Andalusia updated set of services. He shall act as an advocate for patients/clients and staff and promotes consumer involvement in care delivery. Duty Manager assists in delivering the best-in-class services delivered by the hospital, by increasing patient retention, ensuring higher level of satisfaction and avoiding/resolving disputes.He works as a delegate of the Hospital manager when dealing with customers' issues.

Cairo-Egypt

•Responsible for handling all DAMA cases in the hospital and support patients & relatives with all service& medical information they need for better decisions taken.•

Work on financial DAMA prevention by using a specified percentage of discounts for the relevant cases

•Plan for the consultants call list for all specialties to make sure all shifts are covered and no case of emergency occur.

•Ensure compliance of call list for all physicians and take corrective actions if any shifts dropped accordingly.

•Organize the process of equipment transportation from and to the hospital

.•Follow up any outsourcing process such as Lab. To Lab, equipment renting, etc.

•Ensure all new admissions are fitting hospital admission criteria

.•Take all appropriate measures to ensure best utilization for all hospital facilities, services, Bed management.

•Check the cash collection of all cases by the end of each shift& ensure limiting cases exceeds their limit to the minimum.

•Support patients’ relatives with solutions for cash collection methods with respect to hospitals’ regulation.

•Conduct routine and regular rounds to inspect on the quality of services rendered from different facilities and make sure compliance to hospital dress code, manners of all staff.

•Ensure working according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and report on/solve noncompliance.

Education:

Bachelor of medicine of an accredited university is required.

Hospital management diploma or MBA


Experience:

More than 3 years in a relevant position



Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office program

.-Good command of English Skills & Abilities-Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

.-Excellent orientation towards Customers’ expectations.

-Ability to work under continuous stress

.-Expert interactive communication skills, both verbally and written.

.-Excellent capability to effectively meeting deadlines.

-Excellent Compliance with the hospital’s policies.



•Available to respond to any contingencies regarding emergent, urgent and non-urgent calls according to priorities.

•Ensure a safe environment exists all over the hospital and be updated of issued OVRs during the shift.

•Report any damages regarding CAPEX.

•Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow matching capacity and demand appropriately and in conjunction with hospital policies.

•Provide a summary report to handover at the end of each shift.

•Assist in enforcing completion of medical documentation

.•Report on the punctuality of doctors' attendance to follow up on critical cases

.•Review and sign the hospital medical reports for inpatients and OPD customers

.•Share with the quality team in the service improvement projects

.•Facilitate admission of any patient to our hospital and optimize the financial deal with each.

•Promotes and ensures infection control& quality standards are maintained and support in risk planning and monitoring
